Nest in Nature Physiotherapy Group

We are looking for registrations of interest for a new nature based early intervention physiotherapy group!

What are the benefits of attending a nest in nature physiotherapy group?

  • Chat and connect with other families who have had similar life experiences and build support networks.

  • Work towards goals in a different environment, nature has so many benefits and we will explore how to use the outdoor environment to work towards each child’s individual goal

  • Children learn from watching and playing with others which can assist in developing their own new skills!

  • Through group activities children will work on social skills, building friendships, communication skills, sharing, turn taking, creativity, fine motor skills and gross motor skills

  • It’s fun!  We will sing songs, read books, learn through play, create art, get messy, share stories and have a laugh!

Who is it for?

Children aged up to 5 years old who are working on physical goals such as head and trunk control, tummy time, sitting balance, kneeling, crawling and transfers between positions.  Siblings are able to attend and will need to be supervised by their parent/caregiver.

How are individual goals created?
